Congratulations to all the boys who have undertaken the Strength & Conditioning Course over the last 11 weeks. Results from the 1RM Bench Press clearly showed big improvements from initial testing!
This programme will continue at the club on Wednesday nights from 5:30pm until 7pm, with added emphasis now on Speed and Agility, Sprint training and specific mechanics of movement.
Please note players must pay at Picky reception for their 50 minute time on the track!

There will be Touch Rugby for everyone to attend at 6pm on Tuesday nights till the end of June. Please remember to take trainers and boots in case the grass is too firm or soft!
Apologies for not attending on the 15th as I am away South with work until Friday am.
Drag a friend along as it was good craic last week with 19 folk turning out.

Thanks go to Cwiff for getting in touch with the guys that turned up for the 'fun' game of Touch last night. ( I am sure Rob T and BiG Stoff will get over it). It is just a fun session at the moment so more folk would be appreciated.
As far as I am aware the S & C training is in the usual place in the hall at the back of the Town Hall.
'Back' there doesn't appear to be any inside info available yet but you can obviously look at the 2009 season table to see who the competitiors are.
If folk are asking after Club info, KO times etc, can you please also put a name to your queries as it is always easier to respond to someone we know.

Mind on and drag as many folk along to Tuesday night. Bring trainers as well as boots just in case the grass doesn't take a stud (or the turnout is too low for touch and we have to go for a wee jog)!!
The meeting will be an update on what is happenning with pre-season training and there will be time at teh end to open up the room for discussions.

There will be a players meeting on Tuesday the 8th June at the Clubhouse for 7:45pm. All u18 and above players are asked to attend as all of your input will be greatly appreciated. Points for discussion will be pre-season training and other issues for the coming season ahead.
Immediately before this, there will be a Touch Rugby session which will also have some skills and fitness thrown in. Please turn up at 6pm sharp and bring a friend along. The more the merrier. Mind on and bring suitable footwear (boots and trainers just in case).
