Plate win for Orkney girls at U14s National Tournament in Stirlingshire

The girls came home from their tournament in Strathendrick with the Plate (2nd place) and a whole lot of pride!

Autumn International 2025 Ticket Allocation

That’s all the tickets allocated to the club members who applied for them and they should look out for email from [email protected] as it may go into spam.
It will have the tickets they requested and they select age groups and payment amount and pay online.

THE DEADLINE FOR PAYMENTS IS FRIDAY 20 JUNE.
If you do not pay for your allocation of tickets by this date, they will automatically be returned to the SRU for resale.

Some folk will be on split rows but right in front of each other due to the rows of tickets we were supplied

Orkney Rugby Sevens 2025 Roundup

Orkney RFC retained the Orkney Builders (Contractors) Ltd Sevens title to make it six in a row at Pickaquoy on Saturday 3 May, beating All Twatts 34-0 in the final.

The Women’s winners of the Margaret Lanni Memorial Trophy were Aberdeenshire Quines, defeating Blazing Dragons 41-12 in the final,
The Caithness Krakens were awarded the inaugural Brian Lanni Women’s Plate, while Inverness Craig Dunain picked up the Pail with a 22-5 win over the Steaming Dragons and its great to see so many visiting women’s teams travelling up!

In the men’s competitions, visitors Pigbarians secured the Plate, defeating Neeps & A Tattie 26-12.

The Bowl - contested by third placed teams - went to Corsie’s Commandos and last year’s plate winners, the Exporters were awarded the Pail.

Paige Archibald was nominated Women's Player of the tournament, the Grangemouth Anniversary Quaich for young player of the tournament was awarded to Ashton Bruce, while the Keith Hutchison Memorial Trophy for best Orkney RFC player of the tournament went to Ali Morgan
