Local businesses and club members/coaches were at hand yesterday to help with installing them ready for the first rugby game being played on them this weekend. After seeing the Orkney Dragons host the Stornoway Ladies on TV, he thought, “Where better for them to end up?” and contacted Dragons captain, Emma Staunton, to see if she would like them as a donation to the club.
The offer was very gratefully accepted and Richard was able to hand over the pieces to Emma on a trip to Orkney to deliver a boat. Huge thanks to Robin & Richard, the Maeshowe Dragons will soon take pride of place in the clubhouse! |
