Youth Rugby Match Report | U14 Girls Tournament in Aberdeen 27-9-25

On Saturday 27th, the U14s girls travelled alongside the U16s for a tournament at Aberdeen Wanderers.

The Orkney U16s were due to play Garrioch U16s, and Garrioch youth coaches very kindly arranged for all Aberdeen area clubs to join with their U14s so that the two age groups could play alongside.

Aberdeen Wanderers, whose U16s play for the Garrioch team, offered to host. Thank you all for a great day and great hospitality

Donations and Volunteers required for Show Week 2025

It’s that time of year again folks!

DO YOU HAVE ANY BOTTLES TO SPARE?

The County Show Is fast approaching and once again Orkney RFC will have a bottle stall at Bignold Park.
This is an excellent opportunity for the club to raise funds for the upcoming season and all donations are gratefully received!

The clubhouse will be open all day on Saturday 2 August - If you have any bottles, cans etc to donate, they can be left in the front changing room or alternatively given to Garry Coltherd at the Pitstop Garage up at Hatston during the week.

Club Awards Night 2025

The Annual Orkney RFC Awards Night Presentation will be held at the Rugby Club on Friday 20th June.at 5:00pm -
First awards presented at 5:30pm sharp!

There will be a buffet dinner & music by Garriocks Disco.
Ticket Prices: Over 18s - £10; Under 18s - FREE

All sections of the club are invited: Rookies & Minis; all youth age groups boys & girls; Seconds & Internal; Dragons and First Fifteen.

It would also be great to have as many parents come along as possible to see the youngsters getting their rewards!

Autumn Nations Tickets - Payment Deadline 20 June 2025

*** FINAL REMINDER *** - the payment deadline for those still to pay for their allocation of tickets for the Autumn Internationals is Friday 20th June.

If you don’t pay for them by this date, they will be automatically returned to the SRU for resale. If you no longer want your tickets, please decline them & contact Olga Burton as soon as possible!

Any unfulfilled tickets can affect the clubs future allocation, so those who order tickets and don’t pay for them will be excluded from any future International ticket sales through the club!
