Vacancy: Community Rugby Coach

Orkney Rugby Football Club are looking for a Community Rugby Coach to assist the Rugby Development Officer.

Candidates must have an interest in delivering rugby, have good communication skills, be flexible and have a positive attitude.

The role will focus on delivering high quality coaching sessions in schools, clubs and organisations to leave a lasting impact on the local community. The role is suited to someone with a passion for coaching and rugby.

You will:

• Support the Rugby Development Officer by continuing the delivery of all programmes developing school and club provision in the local area including the isles schools.
• Take a leading role in the delivery of all before and after school clubs.
• Work with the RDO in providing high quality coaching and provision at all rugby camps.
• Undertake CPD opportunities and identify other key areas of development for personal growth.
• Always maintain a professional approach to the role and have a sound understanding of all policies in place, to include safeguarding and reporting procedures.

This position is part time, 15 Hours per week evening and weekends and will run for 12 months with the potential of extension depending on funding.

The post attracts an hourly rate of £12.21 and applicants will have to complete a PVG to be successfully appointed.
