MATCH POSTPONED!
Unfortunately due to the weather forecast this weekend, travel issues have meant that the 1st XV game v Aberdeen Wanderers has been called OFF. Please spread the word. **IMPORTANT NOTICE**
Due to the weather this morning, the East v Kirkwall Mini’s matches are cancelled today. Please do not venture down to Burray today (9th Feb). The matches will be rescheduled for another date. Please spread the word! Strive is about to hit the road again on two wheels to support Doddie Weir and also Tom Smith. Both rugby legends who represented Scotland and the Lions have been affected by terrible terminal illnesses. So to show our support for them Willie Tulloch, Garry Coltherd and Leon De Jager will be joining another Scotland and Lions great, Rob Wainwright on the last leg of his cycle from Twickenham to Murrayfield to deliver the match ball for the Calcutta rugby match between Scotland and England on 8th February. Willie, Garry and Leon will set off with Rob from Newcastle at 12:00am in the morning to cycle the last 100 miles, reaching Murrayfield with the ball at 12:30pm - just in time for the game! The money raised is being split equally between the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation for Doddie and 40tude for Tom. We would be delighted if you found get behind the guys and make a donation at the link below. Also if you’re in Edinburgh you might want to drop past Murrayfield early to welcome them home. Please share this far and wide to get as many people as possible behind these great causes.
