Orkney have beaten Perthshire 54-17 in the National League Division 3 clash at Pickaquoy this afternoon.
The home side led 19-17 at the end of what was a fairly close first half, with an opening try from Craig Slater and a double from Philip Ross. Danny Bain converted two. However, it was pretty much all one-way traffic in the second 40 minutes as Orkney ran in a series of tries after some entertaining running. Tom Croy (2), Alex Kansour, Dean Campbell, and Craig Slater all scored tries in the second half, with Orkney's Man of the Match Scott Russell converting all of them.
