Thanks to those who've already replied to my original post on this, I am happy to be able to provide a bit more detail now, so that I can get a bit of better handle on numbers. For that reason I would like you to confirm to me by email or on O7718389454 so that it is clear who fancies it. It's going to be a great weekend and a chance for ORFC to make a big contribution. The Rugby event is part of this fundraising effort https://www.strive.buzz led by Westray Exile Willie Tulloch and is also being advertised here https://www.myname5doddie.co.uk/events/ The Basic itinerary is as follows:
TOUCH RUGBY & CALCUTTA CUP VISIT
Thursday 14th June 2018 6 - 8pm at ORFC The Calcutta Cup is coming to Orkney Rugby Club! The historic cup, won by Scotland in February, will be in the county on Thursday 14th June and after visiting schools in Stromness & Kirkwall it'll be on display at Orkney RFC. Alongside this visit we are hosting a touch rugby come and try session open to everyone from 6-8pm. Touch is a game that can be played by anyone of any age and the teams can be mixed abilities, mixed age groups and mixed genders so anyone who fancies a game of touch come along to the club on Thursday night. The games will be on the pitches behind and around the rugby club and all folk have to come along with is any sports playing gear (colours and styles don’t matters as we sort teams out on the night), and suitable footwear – boots, trainers or some other sporting footwear. You will also have the chance to get a picture with the cup itself. There will be touch rugby on at K.G.S. this Sunday @ 1300.
