NOT JUST 7s WEEKEND!

Both our U16 & U18s boys have made it to the Caley Youth Finals in Aberdeen on Sunday, kicking off from 12:30

They're heading off on Saturday morning & there will be a livestream from the tournament shown in the Clubhouse on 'Clean Up' Sunday - come along & show your support!

We wish them the best of luck!

First Orkney 7s Girls Tournament a great success

On Saturday 23 April 2022, the first Orkney Girls 7s was a success with a day full of rugby for girls of all age groups.

Squads from Lochaber and Shetland travelled with strong numbers as well as girls from Caithness and Moray.

Highland RFC Mini Rugby Tournament 24-4-22

On Sunday 24 April 2002 seven teams from Orkney set off for the Highland RFC Mini Rugby Tournament in Inverness. The contingent comprised 50 player from P4-P7 and 10 coaches & parents.

The were joined by teams from Fraserburgh, Banff, Nairn, Moray, Caithness, Ross Sutherland and Highland RFC

A great time was had by all and the coaches would like to thank Highland RFC for their excellent hospitality including providing all our players plus coaches with packed lunch bags.

Orkney Rugby Sevens 2022

The 53rd Annual Orkney Builders (Contractors) 7s tournament takes place at Picky on Saturday 30th April.

Mini Rugby Tournament from 10:30am
Men's & Women's tournaments kick off at 12:30pm.

Spectators are very welcome - along with the rugby, there will be music, food & refreshments available throughout the afternoon.

In the evening, the clubhouse is open with a late bar licence.

Orkney Girls 7s Tournament Sat 23 April

Come along and cheer on the Orkney girls in their first Orkney 7s tournament at the Pickaquoy Outfield on Saturday 23 April.

10-11am Girls only p1-p7 ‘come try’ session to see if you have it in you to be a little dragon in the making. All current rookie and mini girls are welcome along. If your a current p7 girl training for ORFC, this is a perfect chance to meet some of the coaches and future team mates

11am - Team registration and warm up
12:30 - Tournament begins
3pm - Prize giving sponsored by Box’d Orkney

Caledonia League Division 1 Champions 2022!

After today’s 50-7 win over Aberdeen Wanderers at Hazelhead, Orkney RFC were crowned Tennent’s Caledonia League Division 1 Champions 2021-22!

The U16s also had a 54-26 win on the road, so it should be a great trip back on the boat tonight.
