Caithness RFC will be hosting Scottish Rugby on Sunday, August 7th from 9:00am - 5:00pm for a World Rugby Strength & Conditioning Level 1. The course provides beginner Strength and Conditioning coaches with a basic knowledge and understanding and a foundation of practical skills. This in turn will facilitate coaches to prepare players more thoroughly to play Rugby Union.

Can we also put out a request for accommodation with ORFC membership for the visiting Penguins Team, Graham Scott has 16 beds arranged but needs another 16 nests for some very friendly Penguins. Just a quick reminder that all monies should be with Ian Carse or in our bank account by end of day on Friday 8th July. The committee has been able to allocate tickets to people on the last waiting list but there is now a new waiting list for tickets developing.
After 8 July the committee will look at the position and will consider reallocating the unpaid tickets to people on the new waiting list.
Tickets are currently being distributed and I would be happy to hear from folk and make arrangements with them to hand over the tickets that have been paid for.
Sadly Jimmy Walker passed away on Sunday 26th June. Jimmy was born in Bonnyrigg and qualified as a vet. He arrived in Orkney in the late 1940's with the Ministry of Agriculture to help deal with Fowl Pest.
