The Senior men welcome Greenock Wanderers to Picky on Saturday with a 12:30 kick off.

While on Sunday at 12 noon, the Dragons host Aberdeenshire Quines where the ORFC girl’s team will be selling tea and home bakes in the clubhouse- so make sure you grab some before they are all gone!

Hello everyone!

Welcome to the 2022/23 season, it's underway already at all age groups and sections.

I'm contacting you all now as it is the start of the season which means that memberships are due again. ORFC would like to thank you very much for your support over previous years.

I, on behalf of ORFC, hope that you can continue to support us again this year. It is so very much appreciated. Your support of ORFC helps with the ongoing costs of the clubhouse, training facilities, pitch costs and of course travelling for games.

ORFC have already done fundraising this year, having a tent at the County show which was a welcome return to the diary, marshalled at Dounby show and a week in the Blue Door charity shop, along with other events.

On Saturday the 8th of October, 37 hardy souls hoping for the weather forecast to be wrong, descended on the Dounby pitch for what was sure to be another hotly contested internal game as part of Erland Drever’s brilliant initiative to have “rugby for all” at Orkney RFC.

The pitch was in excellent condition considering the weather over the past while, which is testament to Carl Wood’s excellent work over the years.
