On a lovely Sunday morning in a competitive match the West Greens ran out comfortable winners East. The West Blues then played East in a highly competitive match which ended in a draw which was a fair reflection of the match.
In the P4/P5 section the West Greens have been the strongest side throughout the season and have ran well deserved winners. The other three sides have been fairly evenly matched over the season with all sides picking up points over the course of the competition.

With the previous Sunday’s match having been won by East 4-2 they knew a draw would win the Cup whereas West knew a win would earn a share the Cup. East had a strong start and scored two early tries before West fought back to score try of their own at the end of the first third.
The match then progressed with both sides having chances to score. West had the upper hand in the rucks with East having the better of the play when the ball went a bit wider.
Another highly competitive match saw East run out winners 4 – 3 with nothing much between the teams.
East co-captains were Jamie Sutherland and Sammy Laughton.
